Created to highlight the importance of the olfactory sense, the Olfaction & Perspectives congress returns for its 5th edition on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
The Olfaction & Perspectives congress is organized every two years, bringing together leaders in the perfumery and cosmetics sector. The sense of smell, often neglected, is being showcased in France, the country of perfume, with the latest research advancements in the field of olfaction.
This includes topics such as artificial intelligence and electronic noses.
Each edition features a program developed by a scientific committee that meets regularly, aiming to foster a competitive French industry in cosmetics and perfumes that invests in innovation.
"Naturalness," a key term for consumers: "Does natural have a smell?" This is an interesting topic to explore through the lens of olfaction, where it now holds a central place, along with the connections between artificial intelligence and olfactory creation.
