Grasse Savoir-Faire: From Soil to Bottle
The cultivation of perfume plants is an art of precision. It demands a perfect mastery of the Grasse terroir, its unique climate, and its soil, combined with sharp botanical expertise, particularly in the grafting and care of the plants.
At the heart of this stage, two essential professions work in harmony: growers and harvesters. They watch over the emblematic flowers of our region: Jasmine, Centifolia Rose (May Rose), and Tuberose, as well as Violet, Orange Blossom, Mimosa, and Iris.
The Art of Transformation
Extracting the soul of the flowers is a crucial step. Whether artisanal or industrial, transformation requires an intimate knowledge of the raw materials and traditional tools, such as copper stills or hand-blown glass flasks.
We perpetuate exceptional techniques: enfleurage, hydro-distillation, volatile solvent extraction, and eco-extraction. This process involves passionate artisans: distillers, lab technicians, coppersmiths, and glassblowers.
Composition: The Architecture of Dreams
Creation marks the culmination of this chain of expertise. It is here that the "Nose", a true olfactory architect, assembles essences to create a unique harmony.
There is a profound connection between the plant and the perfume: our perfumers follow every harvest from the birth of the flower to its incorporation into our bottles, ensuring absolute authenticity.
